USB 3.0 is the perfect camera interface to transmit detailed real-time images without losing data at very high speed. Previously, GigE interfaces were the right option to bridge large distances between PC and camera. As of now, IDS offers a budget-priced solution: USB 3.0 cables up to 50 meters.
